Our Annual School Clean up Day will be done through selected schools in PNG, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Samoa, Cook Islands and Vanuatu.
This year, we team up with hundreds of students across the Pacific to promote our Go Green Message.
The aim of this approach is to help our children who are the future leaders of our country, understand the importance of respecting and cleaning the environment for their own health as well as for the community and country, and the Pacific as a whole.
Our Go Green Message is simple: 'Recycle, Reuse, Respect'
- Recycle: Collect and deposit discarded items at an operation, where these materials can be recycled into new products, e.g. scrap metal/plastic buyers.
- Reuse: Remove wastes or 'patch up' damaged areas on an item or its components, to use again for the same purpose.
- Respect: Dispose your unwanted items properly- tied up in bags & put in a rubbish bin. Respect the environment.
Our aim is to drive the message in the schools for a Cleaner Environment and to generate a healthy living culture in our children's mindset thus creating clean environment in our communities.
We look forward to an exciting and successful Annual clean-up day this year.
Annual Clean Day will be on Friday, November 18th, 2016
